Agricultural machinery often combines dust, vibration, moisture and seasonal service pressure. A removable shaft-to-hub connection is useful only when the bushing fits the actual pulley/sprocket hub and the shaft/keyway is in good condition.

Where the bushing enters the drive

Grain auger

Record the auger-drive shaft, sprocket/pulley hub and existing bushing before field replacement.

Combine harvester

Multiple belt and chain drive points may use different bushing families on one machine.

Baler

Quick service matters, but the sprocket or sheave interface still determines the bushing family.

PTO-driven implement

Confirm the intermediate shaft, keyway and hub rather than assuming the PTO size defines the bushing.
