Taper Lock Bushings for Agricultural Machinery

Agricultural machinery often combines dust, vibration, moisture and seasonal service pressure. A removable shaft-to-hub connection is useful only when the bushing fits the actual pulley/sprocket hub and the shaft/keyway is in good condition.

Recommended series to review
| Application / duty | EP series to review | Selection note |
|---|---|---|
| Compact auger drive | EP-1108 / EP-1210 / EP-1610 | Review after shaft and hub identification. |
| Harvester / general drive | EP-1610 / EP-2012 / EP-2517 | Check shock duty and the installed component. |
| QD sprocket drive | EP-E-STL / EP-F-STL | Use with matching QD sprockets/hubs. |
| Large machinery drive | EP-3030 / EP-3535 / EP-4040 | Confirm torque, access and the larger hub dimensions. |
Key selection criteria
| Selection variable | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Existing model | Photograph the marking before removal. |
| Shaft/keyway | Measure wear as well as nominal size. |
| Environment | State dust, moisture or corrosion exposure. |
| Drive duty | Include starts, shock or reversing loads when relevant. |
| Spare strategy | List installed models if you are consolidating maintenance spares. |
Model suggestions are starting points for an enquiry, not a substitute for checking shaft diameter, keyway, mating hub geometry and the drive requirement.
